2013 Zédé de Labégorce Margaux Bordeaux - France 60% Cabernet Sauvignon 33% Merlot 5% Cabernet Franc 2% Petit Verdot Dense red dark color. Nose of blue fruits as well as black currants, cedar nuance. The palate is harmonious, elegant, concentrated with a savory finish. Zédé de Labégorce is the second wine of Chateau Labégorce Zédé, which was included in the highest rank in the 2003 Classification of “Cru Bourgeois”. The vines grow on sandy gravel and sandy silt soils, and are in average 35 years old. After being harvest by hand the grapes are meticulously sorted. The traditional winemaking takes place in concrete vats and the aging in oak barrels with 40% new oak during 15 months. The wine is fined which egg white in the barrel.
